Thu Dec 17, 5: Fri Dec 18, 5: Sound Driver Problem with Win7 Hi every body. It looks like audoi board is too old for Windows 7 support. Those are listed on the bottom of the above page as supported by that same Vista driver. Sound driver problem on XP I hope someone here can help with this. It’s really crazy, the DPLT drivers install properly and the hardware is recognized; just no audio except Skype status alerts.

I assume this is the Vista driver you are using: Intel High Definition Audio: This driver might be worth trying: Lots of old used spare computer parts everywhere!

Dec 20, Posts: Checking the downloads for those boards, even though they do have Windows 7 support, there are no audio drivers listed for them. I’ve noted a audii additional information which unfortunately probably won’t help you but I’ll post it for reference in the thread.
It sucks, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Intel does not currently plan audo develop and offer Windows 7 drivers for any of the discontinued desktop boards listed below. Since you’re getting audoo sound I wonder if something else is clobbered though; I have no experience with Windows 7 but in older versions I’ve had problems where a bad sound driver install messes things up to the point that even a correct driver installed afterwards doesn’t work properly.
