D j Harris, Cool. I’ve heard some folks have it working on Windows 10 with the last drivers released from Matrox. You don’t have JavaScript enabled. I can not recapture because I do not have the original tapes anymore. Is there another way to load the codecs in ppro?

It’s SO frustrating that such a nice, perfectly serviceable piece of hardware is being ignored. I wanted to monitor with Matrox real time DVI out to a P monitor and for the cutting the proxies worked great and now it conforms pre,iere the original 4K for color correction.

So, for anyone with the Matrox cards – big hint – scale down on a Matrox timeline! Is there another way pre,iere load the codecs in ppro? I upgraded to Windows 8 which is not supported by Matrox.

You can turn this off for a single clip if you want to pan and scan on the 4K version. I need both screens to edit from the graphics card, so the MATROX allows me to have both and see it that big, in real time. That was a lot, even for my machine. We took out our Matrox card as the drivers just aren’t up to speed yet for working with the RED files. We’re editing native RED files, no proxies, we just set up a timeline and set the default to “scale to frame”.

In fact, this may be the best option, getting rid of the Matrox issue permanently. Didn’t have to reinstall anything, just make sure to copy all the files to the right place. I also upgraded to Premiere Pro CC.
